About Paper

The average family of four throws out 13 thousand pieces of paper a year, most of being junk mail. If you recycle 1 ton of that paper, You will save 17 trees. I know that doesnt seem like a lot, but 17 trees times just 100 people is 1,700 trees. Our trees. The trees that help us breath and save our endangered species of life. So recycle and plant some trees, maybe 17 trees!
Go to this free website Click here and sign up to be removed from Junk Mail Offers. Some are one click and your done, while others, ironically, you have to print out a form and mail it to the company. Which is time consuming, which is probably why they do it, so you wont take the time and fill it out and they can keep mailing you shit. Well prove them wrong, let us flood them removal requests, think about how much our one letter to them will change the waste coming to us. So print those pages, fill them out and put them in the mail.

Etsy Seller Interview With Yevgenia

Name: My Name is Yevgenia Davidoff
Shop Name: Yevgenia – upcycled collectibles
Shop Link: yevgenia.etsy.com
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Ships To: Everywhere
What materials do you use for your ECO friendly products? I use non-toxic glass and porcelain paints on found housewares, vases, tableware, sinks, and even glass construction bricks. The end products are food safe and dishwasher safe.
Why did you decide to make ECO friendly products? I don’t think it was a conscious decision that I’ll be green from now on. As an artist I always use locally found or abandoned materials, first of all because it’s practical. But safety issue is very important to me because I end up working in my studio all day long.

What inspires you? Nature inspires me, children’s books and movies, and maps.
How long have you had your shop on Etsy? I started selling my works on Etsy last year, although I registered an account 4 years ago.
Is this a job for you or a hobby? It is only hobby at this point, but I’m certainly hoping it will be my only job soon!

How did you get into your craft? I was always crafty and artistic, but became more so with home improvement projects. For me it started with painting the light fixtures, sinks, glass wall partitions, and then onto dishes and vases. You get the picture. I forgot the last time I had to buy a gift for someone, unless it is from Etsy!
Do you have any advice for fellow Etsy shop owners? Fill your shop! Do so on a daily basis! Focus your energy on taking good pictures of your products and improving your descriptions, titles and tags. You can always do better.
Anything else you would like to add?
I have a personal website beside and Etsy store which features my multimedia art, drawing and custom commission works – www.yevgenia.com

Glass Bottles
Originally posted October 16, 2008

Where do you find those glass bottles? I know that breast feeding is the healthiest for your baby, but what if you can't?
What if the baby wont latch?
What if you are going back to work?
What if you are a taking a medications that are not healthy for the baby?
There are lots of reasons why woman do not breastfeed. I personally had to pump the whole time for my first and second child neither would latch. My first one I made it to 4 months and my second I made it to 6 months.
When my third came along, I thought, "You know what, I have paid my dues. It was extremely stressful to pump for myself and my husband and the baby." I went through extreme bouts of depression because I couldn't feed my child myself. It was devastating at times. And the third time around, I just realized, I want to be a happy momma to my baby.

This was before we as a family starting going green. So we didn't have glass bottles. But now I am wondering where do I find them. And if I am wondering, then I know some of you must be also. And so the hunt begins..............let us see what I can come up with.
Ok so here are my finds:
6 pack Evenflo Glass Bottles 4 ounce or 8 ounce-$14.95
Dr. Brown's 2 Pack 7 ounce bottles-$12.99
Evenflo Classic Glass Nurser 3 Pack 4 ounce or 8 ounce $5.99
Silikids Silliskin Bottle 8 ounce-$10.19
WeeGo Glass Bottle 9 ounce-$17.99
The BornFree™ Vented Glass Bottles Gift Set includes: $44.99
* 3x 5oz Glass Bottles,
