Product Review - Eco Canteen

The ECO Canteen is a stainless steel water bottle that has a wide mouth, a beautifully simple design and an easily screwed on lid. The ECO Canteen's wide mouth makes it super easy to fill with other drinks besides water, such as smoothies, and makes it an exceptional water bottle for ice cubes. The lid screws on and off quickly and easily and there is a clip provided so you can easily take it any where!

The wide mouth of the ECO Canteen makes this stainless steel bottle dishwasher friendly which is something you can't say about other stainless steel water bottles. At only $10 plus shipping this bottle is also friendly to your wallet!

Because of the design of this bottle, the ease of opening and closing it and the clip, my son will be using this for baseball this season. I hope it makes other parents there question the plastics their children are drinking out of. The above picture is from last year. This year they will have tangerine shirts. I think next year I will sponsor a team for this blog and get some green shirts!

The video below has a ton of reasons why you should not buy plastic bottles of water or reuse the bottles.

I've always wondered about the difference between the plastic and metal water bottles. Thanks for the info! Great post!

That's really cool! Especially since it's easy to put ice cubes in...I like my drinks cold.

I've been hearing alot about the health hazards of plastic bottles, especially when you reuse them (something my b/f's father does). I think this is a great alternative and I'm going to recommend he buy one.

I can never seem to find water bottles that have the right opening and closing. I'll have to try this one out!

I have something similiar to this - my sister got us on Clean Canteen (or Cleen? Can't remember) - the prices is ridiculous though - $20 bucks. I chose the lid that pops so I can easily drink it at the gym - but then found it was extremely squeaky and loud when I drank so I don't use it too often. I love how big the hole is though so you can put cubes in it! Thats always a nice plus!

I am afraid to use plastic bottles now. Check out our blog about ecovillages. It shows many ways to live in an environmentally friendly manner!

Fantastic! I have been looking for a stainless bottle that has a wide opening, yet still small enough for a little mouth that is under $25. Thanks :o)

I love the idea of a wide mouth top on these. These are really neat - and attractive! I had not heard of them before, so I appreciate you telling us about them!
